Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Farhan has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Japanese Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Dr. Toshiko Abe.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the MoU represents a significant milestone in boosting Saudi-Japanese relations and strengthening cultural exchange.
As part of the Saudi Minister’s official visit to Japan, the agreement sets an integrated framework for cooperation with a special focus on knowledge exchange and collaboration in various cultural areas.
In the light of this, the current cooperation will concentrate on the animation industry, joint projects for the preservation and conservation of cultural heritage, and bolstering mutual understanding and appreciation of the two nations’ cultures.
Moreover, Prince Badr underscored the great significance of the partnership emphasizing that it basically crystalizes the shared vision of both Saudi Arabia and Japan.
Clearly, both countries seek to preserve, celebrate, and advance cultural understanding.
“By joining forces in areas such as heritage preservation and artistic innovation, we do not only honor our histories but also inspire future generations to embrace creativity and cultural exchange,” Prince Badr added.
