Prince Sultan Aviation Academy attains (ICAO) membership
Prince Sultan Academy of Aviation Sciences, one of the strategic units of the Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation, obtained membership of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for the (TRAINAIR PLUS) program, after passing the required evaluation with distinction and achieving the requirements of membership, including preparing a comprehensive training and implementing a effective system for quality management.
On this occasion, a celebration was held at the sixth ICAO International Aviation Training and TRAINAIR PLUS Program, which was held in the Indian capital, New Delhi, under the title: “Opening New Horizons for Innovative Training”.
The head of the Academy’s strategic unit, Captain Ismail bin Salman Al-Kishi, received the certificate of membership from the Deputy Director for Technical Cooperation and Training in the (ICAO), Mishaa Bellini, within twenty-four new members, in addition to the promotion of the former members, where Prince Sultan Academy is the first Saudi Academy You get this membership.
Al-Kishi stressed the importance of obtaining this membership, as it represents an important addition to the academy with its many advantages, including taking advantage of the wide range of training programs in the organization, which is estimated at more than 200 training programs.
“This will enable us to provide these training programs locally under the supervision of the international organization,” he said.
Prince Sultan’s Academy of Aviation Sciences plays a vital role in preparing and qualifying pilots, cabin cabin and air operations personnel, through the most recent training programs in the world.
It has reached many achievements throughout its history spanning six years, and expanded its training base at the local and international levels to keep pace with developments in the air transport industry.
