Environment Min., National Agric-Services Co. Sign MOU for Service Quality

Today, at the ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh, the Ministry of Environment signed a MOU with National Agricultural Services Company to Enhance Service Quality, according to Saudi Press Agency.
The MOU aims to coordinate and exert joint efforts to improve the quality of services provided to beneficiaries in the agricultural sector.

Moreover, the MOU was signed by the Ministry’s Agent for Beneficiary Services and Branch Affairs, Engineer Ghanem bin Hamed Al-Jedan, and the CEO of the National Agricultural Services Company, Engineer Omar bin Mohammed Al-Suhaibani.
Objectives of MOU
Initially, the MOU seeks to transform agricultural services by shifting them from the Ministry to the Company. Consequently, this change aims to improve integration with the Ministry’s branches to support the agricultural sector’s productivity.
“Ministry’s Role in MOU”
Furthermore, under the MOU, the Ministry is responsible for overseeing, ensuring compliance, following up, and coordinating support for all delegated services.
Additionally, this includes providing work sites and supplying the Company with essential data and information.
Company’s Responsibilities
The Company will carry out all operational tasks for delegated services on a set timeline. This will foster harmony and efficiency in service delivery.
It aims to ensure task completion with quality, on time, and to overcome any challenges to meet set goals.
Overview of National Agricultural Services Company
The National Agricultural Services Company, a government body, was founded by a Council of Ministers’ decision. This was part of a plan to revolutionize agricultural services by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture.
The company recently took over import permit and quarantine services at all Kingdom’s maritime, air, and land customs ports from 1/1/1445 AH. This move seeks to boost operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
