The Saudi Arabian Airlines, colloquially known as Saudia, has made a commendable stride in revolutionizing the Hajj and Umrah experience for travelers from North America.

This initiative aligns with the ambitious Saudi Vision 2030 which targets the accommodation of 30 million Umrah pilgrims by the end of the decade.

At the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, Saudia unveiled two new digital platforms for its customers in the United States and Canada.

User-Friendly Digital Platforms for Umrah

The platforms, umrahbysaudia.us for American pilgrims and umrahbysaudia.ca for Canadian visitors, have been crafted to ease the process of planning and booking Umrah trips.

These platforms provide a seamless user experience, encompassing a wide array of services from browsing Umrah packages to finalizing travel arrangements and accessing post-booking services.

Commitment to Exceptional Experiences

Amer bin Saleh Al-Khushail, the EVP of Hajj and Umrah for the Saudi Arabian Airlines Group, highlighted the expansion into the North American market with great pride.

He stressed Saudia’s unwavering commitment to elevating the Umrah journey for its patrons, ensuring the continuation and enhancement of high-quality services.

Enhancing Pilgrimage Planning

Through these digital interfaces, comprehensive insights about Umrah rituals, necessary visa processes, accommodation, and transport will be readily available. Saudia has deployed a dedicated team of travel experts to ensure that pilgrims enjoy an effortless and unforgettable pilgrimage.

Bridging Services with Demand

With a significant Muslim population, North America presents a substantial market for religious travel. Saudia, Kingdom’s national airline, operates numerous flights connecting the Gulf state to the U.S. and Canada. These services not only cater to the logistical needs but also reflect Saudia’s desire to be the preferred airline for the Muslim community.

Saudia in Line with Vision 2030

These new services are part of Saudia’s contribution to Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to diversify the economy and enhance the country’s tourism offerings. The vision emphasizes the development of the Kingdom’s tourism sector, particularly religious tourism which is a cornerstone for the Saudi economy.

Embracing Digital Transformation

In a world where digital convenience is paramount, Saudia’s online platforms for Umrah booking signify a broader trend in the travel industry. They demonstrate the airline’s commitment to adopting digital solutions that meet the evolving needs of modern travelers.

Targeting the North American Market

The launch of these platforms acknowledges the importance of the North American Muslim demographic, offering tailored services for a unique segment of travelers. Saudia’s strategy to tap into this market is indicative of its broader international outreach and customer-centric approach.

Saudia’s latest move to digitalize Umrah services for North American pilgrims positions the airline at the forefront of travel innovation. It is a proactive step towards achieving the Saudi Vision 2030 goals and represents the future of religious tourism and digital advancements within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
