Saudi Hajj, Umrah Min. Meets Bahrain’s Min. of Justice
The Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, recently met with Bahrain’s Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments, Nawaf bin Mohammed Al-Maawda, signifying a strong bond between the two nations, especially in religious affairs pertaining to Hajj and Umrah.
The ministers discussed ways to enhance cooperation for Hajj and Umrah during this visit. Al-Maawda, who also chairs Bahrain’s Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, expressed a keen interest in aligning the committee’s initiatives with those of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
During the discussion, there was a notable emphasis on the longstanding ties between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, which have continuously developed under their respective leaderships. The minister from Bahrain also highlighted that preparations for the upcoming Hajj season were underway through a series of meetings between the Bahraini and Saudi ministries. He praised a comprehensive development plan recently launched by Saudi Arabia’s ministry aimed at streamlining Hajj registration procedures.
Additionally, Al-Maawda commended the Saudi government for the exceptional attention it provides to pilgrims from various Islamic countries, citing services such as the Nusuk platform, which is likely a system to facilitate the pilgrimage process.
Moreover, Al-Maawda acknowledged the efforts made by Saudi Arabia under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to provide the best services to pilgrims. He particularly commended the tremendous efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia in this regard.
This meeting is part of a broader dialogue between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain to enhance religious, judicial, and societal collaborations. The discussions during the meeting reflected a mutual understanding and shared vision for facilitating and improving the pilgrimage experience for Muslims, which is a core aspect of the Islamic faith shared by both nations.
