KSrelief Sends 20th Saudi Relief Plane to Rzeszów Airport

The 20th Saudi relief plane arrived at Poland’s Rzeszów Airport, close to the Ukrainian border, in preparation for its entry across the Polish border into Ukraine. The plane, operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, is carrying electrical appliances on board, with a total weight of 50 tons, reported Al Arabiya. It is part of Saudi Arabia’s aid to the Ukrainian people.

Shortly before that, Saudi Arabia signed, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, a joint cooperation agreement with the World Food Programme, in order to provide food support to those affected in Ukraine. Under the agreement, meals will be distributed to orphanages, hospitals, and displacement centers in Ukraine.

The agreement will benefit 141,000 individuals from the most vulnerable groups and those affected by the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, with a total value of 10 million US dollars.

This agreement is an extension of the relief and humanitarian work carried out by Saudi Arabia, represented by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, to alleviate the suffering of the affected and displaced people.

Moreover, Saudi Arabia tried to end the war in Ukraine. It had previously hosted a meeting of national security advisors and representatives of a number of countries regarding the Ukrainian crisis in the city of Jeddah.

Through the meeting, Saudi Arabia was looking forward to enhancing dialogue and cooperation through the exchange of views, coordination, and discussion at the international level about ways to resolve the Ukrainian crisis through diplomatic and political means.
