The 19th Saudi relief plane, operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) , arrived at Polish Rzeszów airport near the Ukrainian border Saturday, in preparation for its entry across the Polish border into Ukraine, reported Ajel.SA.

The cargo includes the Kingdom’s aid to the Ukrainian people, including electrical appliances, with a total weight of 51 tons.

This comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s historic role, which is known to stand with the needy and affected people around the world in the various crises and tribulations they are going through.

The seventeenth Saudi relief plane departed from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh one week ago, heading to Polish Rzeszow Airport in Poland near the Ukrainian border, in preparation for its delivery inside Ukraine. The plane carried 60 tons of relief supplies including electrical appliances.

Moreover, the center signed an agreement with the UN World Food Program (WFP) to support its operations in Ukraine. Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, supervisor-general of KSrelief, and Cindy McCain, the WFP’s executive director signed the agreement, worth $10 million, on Tuesday.

According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the project aims to provide food assistance through the delivery of meals to orphanages, hospitals, and displacement centers in Ukraine
