IQRA competition concludes its Arab tour in 4 cities
The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture “Ithra” concluded the journey of the “IQRA” Travels” program, one of the tracks of the “IQRA” reading enrichment program in its eighth edition.
The tour began with the Riyadh International Book Fair and toured 4 Arab cities (Muscat, Rabat, Cairo, and Amman).
Writers, thinkers, and readers gathered on one platform to discuss issues of reading and writing in its various fields.
Cultural Club events in Oman and other countries introduced the “Read” competition through lectures, workshops, and seminars.
The program consists of the “IQRA” (Read) competition, which this year targets students of all educational levels and teachers from the Arab world through two tracks (Reader of the Year and Reading Ambassadors).
The program also includes several general cultural events, including the Koutoubia Book Swap Exhibition, the Reading Marathon, and Read Travels.
