Riyadh is poised to make history as it hosts the sixth edition of Intersec Saudi Arabia, a leading event for the security, safety, and fire protection industries. Scheduled to take place from October 1 to 3, 2024, the event has already reached full capacity with over 300 exhibitors from 28 countries, marking a 25% increase from the previous year. Organizers expect to attract more than 17,000 visitors.
Saudi Partnerships and Global Participation
The Saudi Ministry of Interior and the General Directorate of Civil Defense are collaborating to organize the event. Intersec Saudi Arabia addresses the Kingdom’s rising demand for security, fire protection, and public safety solutions. International exhibitors from countries such as China, the UK, and France will participate. Notably, 29% of exhibitors will be from Saudi Arabia, highlighting the local market’s importance.
Expanded Venue and Broader Participation
To meet growing demand, the exhibition space has increased by 34%. It will cover 23,000 square meters across five halls and an outdoor area. Exhibitors will present innovations in fire, safety, and security, offering a comprehensive view of cutting-edge technologies. Hall 1 and 2 will showcase commercial security and cybersecurity, while Halls 3 and 4 will focus on fire health and safety. Hall 5, named Intersec Infinity, will feature solutions in security, safety, and fire protection.
Key Summits Addressing Industry Challenges
Two major summits will provide insights into industry trends and challenges. The Future Security and Safety Summit will focus on AI’s role in security, and the Fire Protection and Technology Summit will explore robotics for fire suppression. Discussions will also cover the impact of climate change on fire safety.
