On the occasion of the 94th Saudi National Day, Jeddah Municipality has prepared its waterfronts and facilities to receive visitors from across the Kingdom to mark the national feast, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Jeddah is a unique tourist attraction, boasting a distinct location along the Red Sea coast and stunning natural beauty. This allows for a wide range of diverse and immersive tourist experiences.
Jeddah Waterfronts
The city has four outstanding waterfronts, distinguished by their beauty and innovation. These amazing waterfronts meet the highest international standards, with a special focus on safety measures in addition to delivering world-class entertainment services, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
To celebrate the Saudi National Day, the Jeddah Municipality has made preparations to welcome citizens, by equipping parks, public spaces and walking tracks.
Furthermore, it introduced recreational activities, such as speed boats and jet skis, in a relaxing atmosphere amid green spaces, fountains, and sports facilities.
ROSHN Waterfront
One of Jeddah’s most attractive waterfronts is the ROSHN Waterfront. It covers an area of 730,000 square meters and includes several recreational facilities, as well as a wide variety of restaurants and shopping stores.
The ROSHN Waterfront extends over 4,500 meters, from the Seagull Roundabout to Jaber Ibn Al-Harith Street, making it a perfect destination for hiking and enjoying the beauty of the sea.
Jeddah South Obhur
Furthermore, the South Obhur Waterfront is an ideal destination for families and visitors from all age groups. It covers an area of 205,000 square meters and stretches over 3 kilometers.
Obhur Waterfront boasts a seafront promenade, green spaces, public beaches, bicycle trail, children’s play area, as well as services and investment facilities.
North Corniche
Another attraction in Jeddah is the North Corniche. It extends from the Seagull Roundabout to the Border Guard Center, over an area of 236,000 square meters.
The North Corniche features an entertainment zone, sand beaches, green spaces, fountains, and the longest pedestrian bridge in the Kingdom, overlooking the Red Sea.
Middle Corniche
Moreover, Jeddah Middle Corniche is going through aesthetic improvements, involving parks, fountains and aquatic dioramas, in addition to Palestine Street walking track.
The Middle Corniche extends from Al Salam Palace Lake to Al Hamra Border Guard Center over 3.5 kilometers.
