Under the patronage of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the third edition of the Hajj Health and Safety Forum was inaugurated today. The event is organized by the General Administration of Medical Services at the Ministry of Interior and will run from May 17 to 19, 2026, with the participation of senior officials, experts, specialists, and relevant stakeholders.

The forum acts as a specialized professional platform dedicated to discussing health and security aspects of Hajj. It also highlights best practices, previous experiences, and innovative technological solutions, while strengthening coordination among stakeholders, improving readiness and response capabilities, and enhancing the quality of services provided to pilgrims during the Hajj season.

This year’s program includes more than 15 panel discussions, six keynote speeches, and three workshops, in addition to a TEDx session and a hackathon innovation challenge involving around 90 teams. The forum also features an exhibition with over 30 participating entities from the government, private, and non-profit sectors, showcasing initiatives, services, technologies, and experiences related to health and safety during Hajj.
