Saudi Arabia is anticipated to welcome approximately 179,000 Pakistani pilgrims during 2025 Hajj season in early June, according to Gulf News.
The first of May is set to mark the departure of the first Hajj flight from Pakistan, Pakistani television Samaa reported. Meanwhile, the last flight will depart on May 30, the sources added.
Saudi Arabia is currently ramping up preparations for Hajj 2025 with major infrastructure and service upgrades, according to Gulf News.
The Central Hajj Committee has recently held a meeting to evaluate the readiness of facilities and services for pilgrims during Ramadan and the upcoming Hajj season.
Held under the directives of Emir of Mecca and Committee Chairman Prince Khaled Al Faisal, the meeting reviewed the latest operational plans as well as the emergency response strategy designed by the General Directorate of Civil Defense.
In coordination with 43 government agencies, the plan aims to foster safety, streamline logistics, and provide efficient crisis management during 2025 season.
The meeting also delved into various other agenda items and issued recommendations to further intensify Hajj 2025 preparations.
