Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched the Awareness Platform on its official website to educate and serve pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors of the two holy mosques, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The new platform features 180 educational topics, 580 minutes of educational videos, 16 promotional clips, 365 educational presentations, as well as 220 educational designs.
Through an interactive and engaging style, Awareness platform seeks to educate visitors on how to perform rituals according to the teachings of the Prophet.
According to the ministry, it focuses on essential topics, addresses pilgrims’ needs, and enriches their spiritual journey.
In order to provide seamless learning experience, the newly launched platform boasts four main learning tracks and 12 educational journeys.
Interestingly, content is available in eight languages, including English, French, Persian, Indonesian and Hausa.
The platform includes an important feature that allows users to progress through learning stages in an organized way, with progress statistics to motivate further learning.
Furthermore, it offers a vast array of guides relevant to pilgrims, such as health awareness, financial awareness, legal awareness, and cyber awareness. These guides raise pilgrims’ awareness of health, financial, legal, and cybersecurity topics, which they will certainly need to know before and during their Hajj or Umrah pilgrimage.
