Saudi Arabia announced that domestic pilgrims can refund the reservation money of Hajj 2025 in certain cases, Gulf News reported.
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah stated that reservation fees can be refunded in case of the death of the main applicant.
A wife can take back her money in the event of her husband’s demise and traffic accidents that prevent the performance of Hajj rituals.
As for cases that should be supported by introducing a proof of the accuracy of the information.
If the pilgrim suffered a criminal accident, he should submit a proof of the accuracy of the information, health disability as well as hospitalization in the form of reports.
Furthermore, they should obtain such reports in Arabic from private hospitals and certify them from health authorities.
Crucially, the Ministry advised pilgrims to cancel their reservations via a designated website inside the Kingdom, or the Nusuk app before the money is refunded.
Recently, registration for 2025 Hajj has officially started for Saudi citizens and residents through the Nusuk app and the official online portal.
The ministry has required pilgrims to verify their information, insert companions, and submit any requests for exemptions.
Crucially, Hajj authorities advised pilgrims to stay tuned and prepare themselves for the Hajj package sales, that have already kicked off via the Nusuk platform. Therefore, pilgrims should arrange their preferred packages, top up their e-wallets, and finalize their selections.
