The Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) has organized the Canadian Healthcare Companies Forum to foster health cooperation, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The forum highlighted the presence of the FSC’s Chairman Hassan Al-Huwaizi and Canadian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Jean-Philippe Linteau. With the participation of more than 26 Canadian companies, the event further strengthened the Saudi-Canadian cooperation and investment.
In the light of this, Al-Huwaizi emphasized the depth of relations between both countries underscoring their pivotal efforts to establish the Saudi-Canadian Joint Business Council.
Crucially, the council has become a significant platform for Saudi and Canadian businessmen to premier their business and capture promising investments.
Interestingly, three Canadian healthcare companies unveiled their preparations to establish regional offices in the Kingdom. This strategic step will empower them to seize several investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia’s health sector.
In the same context, the Canadian Ambassador stated that multiple companies in Canada have recently expressed their interest to team up with the Kingdom’s health sector.
The Chairman of the Saudi-Canadian Business Council also stressed that Saudi Vision 2030 aims basically to transform the healthcare sector into a more comprehensive and integrated system. Moreover, he expected that health investment opportunities could surge to SAR 330 billion by 2030.
