
The fourth annual Saudi Feast Food Festival, organized by the Culinary Arts Commission, kicked off yesterday in Jeddah, offering an immersive celebration of Saudi cuisine. The event combines cultural experiences with educational activities that showcase the Kingdom’s rich culinary traditions.
The festival features seven distinct zones, each designed to cater to different tastes and interests. A key highlight is the Culinary Heritage Zone, which boasts 13 sections dedicated to the diverse regions of Saudi Arabia. Additionally, visitors can explore the unique dishes and culinary practices from each area, gaining a deeper understanding of the Kingdom’s gastronomic heritage.
Workshops Zone
Another major attraction is the Workshops Zone, which offers up to 30 hands-on sessions focused on preparing traditional Saudi dishes and sweets. With two fully-equipped cooking stations and a wide range of utensils and ingredients, the zone provides visitors with the opportunity to learn from both local and international culinary experts. These workshops allow participants to refine their cooking skills and uncover the secrets of Saudi cuisine.
The festival also features a Theater Zone, which showcases musical performances from various regions of Saudi Arabia. There is a Children’s Zone offering fun, interactive cooking workshops and storytelling. Additionally, a Competition Zone allows talented chefs to face off in cooking contests that highlight national and regional dishes.
