Doha to Host Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit to Discuss Israeli Attack on Qatar

The Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported on Thursday that the Qatari capital, Doha, will host an emergency Arab-Islamic summit next Sunday and Monday to discuss a response to the Israeli attack that targeted Qatar last Tuesday.
A diplomatic source told Al Jazeera Net that broad Arab and Islamic participation is expected at the summit, which will be held Monday in Doha. Moreover, the source stressed that a unified response to the Israeli aggression against Qatar will be formulated.

Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani confirmed in an interview with the American network CNN that an Arab-Islamic summit will be held in Doha in the coming days, where participants will decide on the course of action in response. Additionally, he noted that Qatar will not ask regional partners to respond in a specific way.

The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister emphasized that his country does not accept threats issued by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He also pointed out that there will be a regional response, which is currently being discussed with regional partners.
