The Heritage Authority and the Saudi Falcons Club signed a memorandum to enhance cooperation in governing the Kingdom’s heritage sector, preserving falconry heritage, and achieving strategic goals for national heritage sustainability.

The Heritage Authority was represented during the signing of the agreement by the CEO, Dr. Jasser bin Sulaiman Al-Harbash, while the Saudi Falcons Club was represented by the club’s CEO, Talal bin Abdulaziz Al-Shamisi. The signing took place at the Heritage Authority’s headquarters in the Al-Murabba’ neighborhood in the capital, Riyadh.
The memorandum aims to establish understanding between the parties on preserving and protecting “falconry,” listed on UNESCO‘s Intangible Cultural Heritage. Additionally, the memorandum covers organizing international gatherings and exhibitions to highlight this cultural heritage.

Furthermore, this memorandum aims to achieve common goals: developing the heritage sector, caring for falcons, and showcasing ancient heritage, all contributing to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
