Apple to Officially Launch Stores in Saudi Arabia in 2025

Apple announced that it will launch online and physical stores in Saudi Arabia in the summer of 2025, Gulf News reported. The launch will be part of the US tech giant’s expansion plans to boost its presence in the Gulf. Consequently, the company unveiled the launch of another store in the United Arab Emirates, this time in Al Ain.

The Saudi Apple store will stand as a living proof of the unparalleled growth of the GCC marketplace.

Before the official announcement, there had been talks that Apple was about to sign a deal with the Kingdom. Now the deal has been revealed and Apple plans to launch several openings across the Kingdom with an iconic retail store in Diriyah, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

“Our teams are looking forward to deepening our connections with customers, and to bringing the best of Apple to help people across this country explore their passions, build their businesses, and take their ideas to the next level,” Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, said.

However, the Saudi shopping destination that will host the first Apple store in 2026 is being kept firmly under wraps.

Set to open Summer of 2025, the online will provide customers across Saudi Arabia with ‘new ways to shop Apple’s full range of products’. There will also be ‘support directly from Apple in Arabic for the very first time’.

Recently, Apple has hosted Saudi Arabia’s first co-ed Apple Foundation Program. The month-long course represented a valuable opportunity for students to learn the fundamentals of coding and app development, with a focus on gaming.
