In a remarkable success, the headquarters of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation, also known as the Misk Foundation, has obtained the WELL gold certificate in recognition for its innovative urban design.
Introduced by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), the global certificate aims to stimulate organizations to place health as a top priority during building the design.
In the light of this, the WELL certificate acknowledged that Misk’s headquarters is a role model and center for innovative urban design in Saudi Arabia.
Furthermore, the organization is perfectly dedicated to creating sustainable urban spaces concentrating on human health and well-being, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Crucially, the certificate takes into consideration certain elements in the urban and building design such as air quality, water purity, light, temperature and insulation, contact with nature, and flow of movement.
Fortunately, the Misk Foundation’s headquarters have applied and deployed these WELL elements to effectively provide a healthy and supportive working environment for its employees.
The Certificate accelerates Misk Foundation‘s bold objective to obtain the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certificate that would further position Misk as a role model for healthy and green design in the Middle East.
