Direct flights between the Polish capital, Warsaw, and Saudi capital, Riyadh, will begin on the fourth of next June, as Polish Airlines will begin operating its first flight to the Saudi capital, according to the Saudi Ambassador to Poland, Saad Al-Saleh.

Al-Saleh said that launching direct flights between the two countries will enhance the trade balance figures and intensify levels of cooperation in vital sectors such as tourism, sports, and education, reported Al Arabiya.

In an economic context, the Saudi ambassador revealed in an interview via Al Arabiya.net that the volume of bilateral trade during the past year reached about 9 billion dollars, describing the level of trade exchange as “growing”.
