Riyadh Hosts 3rd Int’nal Translation Forum This Friday
This Friday, Riyadh is set to host a significant event, the third International Translation Forum 2023, organized by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission.
The forum, themed “Fostering Cross-Cultural Exchange,” aims to highlight the global cultural communication through the exchange of cultural content, shedding light on the vital role of the translation profession in bridging different cultures and civilizations.
The two-day event, to be held at King Saud University, comprises 10 panel sessions covering critical topics in the field of translation, and nine workshops designed to enhance the translation skills of the attendees.
A unique feature of the forum is the “Talk with Experts” event, providing a platform for attendees to interact with local and international experts present at the forum.
Additionally, the discussions will not be confined to textual translation alone but will extend to editorial, interpretation, and audiovisual translation, all under expert guidance.
Besides, an exhibition will accompany the forum, showcasing prominent local and international translation institutions, reflecting the forum’s comprehensive approach towards the translation profession.
Furthermore, the International Translation Forum 2023 aims to continue the tradition of fostering global cultural communication.
