
The University of Jeddah has achieved a remarkable global milestone as Ahmed Bawazeer, a standout student from the College of Computer Science and Engineering and a participant in the university’s Gifted Talent Recruitment and Care Program, earned first place at the prestigious Harvard Health Hackathon.
The event, hosted by Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business and Entrepreneurship (MBSC) and organized by Harvard University, was held under the theme: “Building High-Value Health Systems: Harnessing Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence.”
Competing against 160 innovative projects, Bawazeer’s AI-driven solution captured top honors, highlighting the potential of artificial intelligence in transforming healthcare systems of the future.
This achievement underscores the University of Jeddah’s commitment to empowering its students, fostering innovation, and advancing the role of AI in building sustainable and impactful health solutions on a global scale.
