Trump on Warren’s nomination: The daughter of the “Red Indians” joins the presidential race

As usual, the American President Donald Trump didn’t let Sunday to go without commenting on Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren’s presidential nomination for 2020.

On Saturday, from Massachusetts, Warren announced formally her intentions to nominate for the next presidential elections in the United States.

Trump wrote on Twitter: “Today Elizabeth Warren, sometimes referred to by me as Pocahontas” (Pocahontas is the daughter of ancient Americans “Amerindian” who was captured by the English during their war against the ancient Americans).

He continued: joined the race for President… “Will she run as our first Native American presidential candidate, or has she decided that after 32 years, this is not playing so well anymore?”
And then he added: “See you on the campaign TRAIL, Liz!”
Warren, leader of the Democratic Progressive Party and Massachusetts senator, announced her declaration from a historic location in Lawrence, northwest of Boston, where the organized labor movement was launched in the United States.

Warren, 69 years old, has made workers’ rights, wages and medical care a priority of her campaign.
She said: “This is the fight of our lives… the fight to build an America where dreams are possible, an America that works for everyone… And that’s why I stand here today, to declare that I’m a candidate for the United States of America”.

Warren became famous during the economic crisis 10 years ago, when she sharply criticized major banks and uncontrolled capitalism.

She gained public sympathy for her call to protect consumers, and also she has clashed with the administration of former President Barack Obama, several times because of her liberal thoughts.
Although we are still 21 months ahead of the US presidential election in 2020, a large number of American figures have announced their intention to stand for elections against Trump, who has already announced his intention to stand for.

Amongst those figures, “Tulsi Gabbard” the Democratic Representative, “Kamala Harris” Senator of the Democratic Party, “Hillary Clinton” the Former Secretary of State, and “Howard Schultz” the former CEO of “Starbucks” cafes chain.
