Social Media Companies: We Will Allow Our Staff to Work from Home “Forever”
The pandemic of coronavirus has proved to many people and organizations that working from home is possible. After the lockdown, many companies have shifted to work from home (WFH). This phenomenon has changed the perspective of future companies.
Twitter has announced that: “The past few months have proven we can make that work. So, if our employees are in a role and situation that enables them to work from home and they want to continue to do so forever, we will make that happen.”
Also, Google and Facebook have made a flexible rule. They let their employees work from home until the end of the year 2020. This rule is described as “an era-defining moment.” This shift may change how productivity is measured and how businesses are generated.
During this time, Companies around the world are working out how to re-open offices gradually while introducing new social distancing measures.
