Saudi Women Boost the Economy: Eastern Province Hosts Key Forum

Prince Saud bin Naif, Governor of the Eastern Province, inaugurated the Women’s Economic Forum in Dammam on Tuesday. Organized by the Asharqia Chamber through its Women’s Empowerment Center, the event gathered experts, officials, academics, and professionals to highlight women’s contributions to the business sector.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that Prince Saud highlighted the Saudi leadership’s dedication to empowering women across various sectors. He stressed the importance of economic programs that aim to enhance women’s contributions to the national economy.

Asharqia Chamber Shares Forum Objectives

Badr Al-Rizaiza, chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, briefed the governor on the forum’s objectives. He also introduced initiatives designed to support Saudi women’s empowerment and align with Vision 2030 goals.

The forum featured four sessions addressing Saudi women’s evolving role under Vision 2030. Discussions explored women’s contributions to Vision 2030, entrepreneurship opportunities, business sustainability strategies, and the importance of training for leadership preparation.

Workshops Highlight Entrepreneurship and Leadership

On Wednesday, four workshops will tackle key topics, including the Dhahran Techno Valley system’s role in supporting entrepreneurship and tourism entrepreneurship. They will also focus on fostering workplace diversity, inclusiveness, and creative leadership as critical drivers of success in today’s dynamic business environment.
