The Saudi Red Sea Authority has issued 12 new licenses for tourism shipping agent and operators to boost the Kingdom’s coastal tourism sector, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Over the past two months, the authority provided a tourism shipping agent license for Deep Seas Shipping Agency. Meanwhile, it issued three licenses for marine tourism marina operators: Sindalah Marina in NEOM, Dolphin Beach Resort in Yanbu, and Jeddah Municipality Marina.
Furthermore, Sindalah Island Marina in NEOM secured a permit to construct a marine tourism marina, and Cruise Saudi obtained a cruise ship operator license. In addition, a route license was issued for cruise ships.
The authority has also issued five technical recreational tourism licenses, including four for yacht companies and one for AROYA Cruise Limited.
Issuing licenses is part of the Saudi Red Sea Authority’s efforts to regulate maritime tourism and elevate coastal tourism to attract tourists and investors from all over the world.
Therefore, the permits will create an attractive coastal environment that captures the attention of visitors and tourists to the Red Sea shore destinations.
This remarkable success reflects the authority’s commitment to ensuring a safe and suitable environment for tourists in the Red Sea and strengthening its position as a pioneering global tourism destination.
