Saudi Minister of Industry, Mineral Resources Visits Netherlands

Today, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, began an official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. This visit aims to enhance bilateral cooperation in the industrial and mining sectors, and explore joint investment opportunities between the two sides.

The Minister is scheduled to meet a number of ministers and senior officials in the Dutch government, in addition to a number of private sector leaders. They will discuss ways to exchange experiences, and to review the investment opportunities provided by the Kingdom in the industrial and mining sectors.

The Minister will also conduct a number of field visits to Dutch factories and companies operating in the industrial and mining sectors. Moreover, this will encourage partnerships between the private sector entities in the two countries.

It is noteworthy that the volume of the Kingdom’s non-oil exports to the Kingdom of the Netherlands in 2023 reached approximately 2.65 billion Saudi riyals, while the volume of the Kingdom’s non-oil imports from the Netherlands reached 8.48 billion Saudi riyals.
