
The Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Alibrahim discussed with the Scientific Director of the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) Andreas Kugi opportunities for future cooperation and the latest developments in the technical field, reported Saudi Press Agency.
Alibrahim visited the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT), on the sidelines of the Saudi-Austrian Joint committee.
The ninth session of the joint Saudi-Austrian committee began in the capital, Vienna on May, 27. The Kingdom’s delegation include 22 entities from the public sector, headed by the Minister of Economy and Planning.
The two-day session of the joint Saudi-Austrian committee includes a series of bilateral meetings, field and cultural visits, in addition to holding the Saudi-Austrian investment forum.
The committee is expected to discuss the strengthening of economic cooperation and joint development between the two countries. The two parties will also sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in order to consolidate bilateral relations.
Since its establishment in 2004, the Saudi-Austrian Joint Committee has contributed to enhancing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Austria in a number of fields.
