Saudi, Japanese Mins Discuss Expanding Digital Economy

The Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Engineer Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha, met today in Jeddah with the Japanese Minister of Digital Transformation, Taro Kono, and his accompanying delegation.

The Communications Minister and his Japanese counterpart discussed expanding digital investment opportunities between their countries to support economic growth and innovation. They reviewed progress on digital projects and joint initiatives under the Saudi-Japanese Vision 2030, aiming to accelerate modern technology adoption in government services and localize research and development centers. They also focused on stimulating partnerships to enhance capabilities and foster a technology-driven economy
