Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment Fahd Al Saif inaugurated Lenovo’s regional headquarters for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa in Riyadh on April 12, marking a significant milestone in the Kingdom’s drive to position itself as a pioneering hub for global business, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The minister noted that the move mirrors the success of the Regional Headquarters (RHQ) Program in attracting multinational companies and enabling them to manage and expand their operations from the Kingdom.
Moreover, the move reflects the growing range of investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia and across the wider Middle East.
Lenovo will leverage the new hub to build an integrated presence in the Saudi market as well as local partners, supporting regional expansion and meeting global demand through a business ecosystem that brings together decision-making and logistics within a conducive investment environment.
Lenovo’s investments feature research and development programs, skills initiatives, alongside the establishment of a manufacturing platform with an annual capacity of around 8 million units.
The launch comes alongside Lenovo’s expansion within Riyadh’s Special Integrated Logistics Zone, a prestigious destination that is drawing an increasing number of global firms to establish advanced operational bases in the Kingdom.
