Saudi Education Ecosystem Secures Grand Prize, 130+ Medals in Geneva

Saudi Arabia’s education and training ecosystem achieved remarkable success at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2026, earning the Grand Prize, six special international awards, and 133 medals. This achievement reflects the Kingdom’s strong commitment to nurturing innovation among students, strengthening its global standing in scientific research, and supporting the goals of the Human Capability Development Program and Saudi Vision 2030.

Students from across the Kingdom presented 14 innovative projects, winning two special international awards and 12 medals. Among the standout achievements, Al-Jawhara Al-Qahtani received the Grand Prize and a gold medal with honors, while Sari Al-Qahtani earned a gold medal in the 12–15 age category. Additional gold medals were awarded to Firas Al-Ghamdi, Fatima Al-Saleem, Raseel Musallami, and Mohammed Al-Amer.

Universities and colleges also demonstrated strong participation, presenting 111 inventions and earning three special international awards, along with 14 gold medals, 43 silver medals, and 27 bronze medals.

Moreover, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation contributed to the success by winning one gold medal and three bronze medals.

At the exhibition, the Ministry of Education (Saudi Arabia) hosted a pavilion representing 36 educational institutions and showcasing 135 scientific innovations, with participation from 73 students and 109 educators. The ecosystem also delivered specialized training programs designed to strengthen participants’ skills and prepare them for international competitions.
