Saudi innovator Duaa Nizar Khudry claimed two gold medals at the 16th International Invention Fair in the Middle East (IIFME), hosted in Kuwait from February 8 to 12. A member of Mawhiba Alumni under the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), Khudry was recognized for developing a device designed to filter materials and recycle used liquids.

She earned her first gold medal from the fair’s organizing committee and received a second gold medal — the IFIA Best Invention Award — from the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA). Mawhiba nominated and supported Khudry to represent Saudi Arabia at the event, marking the foundation’s third participation in the fair.
