
As part of his official visit to the United Kingdom, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha met with a distinguished group of Saudi innovators and postgraduate students in London. The gathering aimed to inspire and mobilize national talent to contribute to the Kingdom’s vision of a technology-, AI-, and innovation-driven economy.

Joining the Minister were Vice Minister Eng. Haitham bin Abdulrahman Al-Ohali and Dr. Sultan Binsaeed, Acting Director General of the Research, Development, and Innovation Authority, along with several leaders from the innovation ecosystem.

The discussions centered on advancing national priorities in research, development, and innovation, and explored ways to harness scientific capabilities to create meaningful solutions that align with Saudi Vision 2030. The meeting also highlighted the vital role of Saudi talents abroad in enriching the local innovation landscape and representing the Kingdom on the global scientific stage.
