Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) is currently hosting a mobile cybersecurity awareness exhibition in coincidence with the International Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
Organized by the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), the four-day exhibition boasts six significant pavilions.
The pavilions are showcasing the concepts of cybersecurity and its importance on the national level.
Moreover, the event sheds light on several practices that protect entities from any potential cyber threat.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the pavilions display various live simulations of the most damaging cyberattacks on individuals and organizations.
The forum represents a valuable platform for exchanging consultations and recommendations on the best practices to address the threats of cyberattacks.
Led by its NCA, the Kingdom is intensifying its efforts to protect national entities and build a strong cyber workforce.
Saudi Arabia has made bold strides to foster its cybersecurity infrastructure in collaboration with both public and private sectors.
“The level of care and attention directed towards data protection, whether from a security or governance perspective, is experiencing a renaissance,” says Nader Henein, VP analyst at Gartner.
