The Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA) has launched the visual identity for Eid Al-Fitr 2026, promising a season full of joy and celebrations.
Eid Al-Fitr is celebrated on the first day of Shawwal, marking the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan. This year, the holiday is expected to fall on March 20, 2026, subject to the official moon sighting.
In a post on X, GEA Chairman Turki Al al-Sheikh unveiled the new identity, which aligns with GEA’s commitment to enriching the Eid festivities in addition to honoring the holiday as a meaningful occasion for joy and social bonding.
The newly-revealed identity captures the essence of Eid in the Kingdom through a vibrant visual design rooted in traditional celebrations. It also highlights the cultural customs that bring people together and evoke a sense of shared happiness across the community.
Interestingly, the identity brings Eid to life through visual elements that depict family gatherings, Saudi hospitality, the exchange of Eidiya, and public celebrations. It also incorporates symbols of joy, such as festive decorations, vibrant colors, and fireworks.
