Saudi FM Meets Spanish Counterpart, Finnish President

Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, has held a meeting with President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb, on the sidelines of the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Johannesburg, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The ministers discussed bilateral relations and explored new ways to further strengthen cooperation and coordination between both nations.

During the talks, both ministers also delved into several regional and international developments along with issues of mutual concern.

Prince Faisal also met his Spanish Counterpart José Manuel Albares during his participation at the G20 Leaders’ Summit in South Africa.

The foreign ministers reviewed bilateral relations and discussed numerous regional and international developments.

South Africa is currently hosting the 20th G20 Leaders’ Summit, marking the first time an African country holds this significant event.

The flagship meeting is set to bring together approximately 42 countries and institutions, but the US will be absent as President Donald Trump has boycotted the summit.

South Africa has held the presidency since November 2024 and will hand it over to the US on November 30, 2025.
