The Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman, held a meeting on Wednesday with the Iraqi Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
During their meeting, the Saudi Crown Prince and the Iraqi Prime Minister reviewed bilateral relations and explored ways to further enhance them.
Moreover, they discussed the latest developments in the region and efforts made to address them in order to achieve security and stability.
According to the Iraqi Prime Minister’s Media Office, both leaders agreed on the importance of joint coordination with regards to the developments in Syria, and intensifying efforts to address regional and international challenges.
They also discussed the tragic situation in Gaza, and the ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestinians, underscoring the need to intensify international efforts to reach an immediate ceasefire and double relief efforts to alleviate the suffering of Gaza people.
Furthermore, the two leaders emphasized the significance of maintaining the ceasefire in Lebanon and exerting efforts towards compliance with the agreement’s terms.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received Al-Sudani at the winter retreat in AlUla, where they held their talks.
The meeting saw the attendance of the Governor of Madinah Region, Prince Salman bin Sultan Al Saud; and the Minister of State, National Security Adviser and Member of the Council of Minister, Musaed Bin Mohammed al-Aiban.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Director of Intelligence, Waqas Muhammad Hussein, was present from the Iraqi side.
The Iraqi Prime Minister arrived Wednesday in AlUla, as part of an official visit to Saudi Arabia. He was warmly received at AlUla International Airport by Prince Salman bin Sultan and several high-ranking officials. After meeting the Saudi Crown Prince, Al-Sudani and his accompanying delegation left AlUla.
