Saudi Arabia Firmly Rejects Palestinians Displacement, Praises Brotherly Countries Stance

Saudi Arabia has reiterated its categorical rejection of Israeli Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s remarks regarding the displacement of the Palestinian people from their land, appreciating brotherly countries’ position regarding these statements.

Praising Brotherly Countries’ Stance

On Sunday, the Saudi Foreign Ministry issued a statement expressing the Kingdom’s appreciation of the “condemnation, disapproval, and total rejection announced by brotherly countries” towards the Israeli Prime Minister’s remarks regarding the displacement of the Palestinian people from their land.

Furthermore, the statement added that Saudi Arabia “values the positions that emphasize the centrality of the Palestinian issue to the Arab and Muslim countries.”

Rejecting Palestinians Displacement

In the light of this, Saudi Arabia emphasized its “categorical rejection to such statements that aim to divert attention from the continuous crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian brothers in Gaza, including the ethnic cleansing they are subjected to,” according to the statement.

Moreover, the Kingdom reiterated that “the Palestinian people have a right to their land, and they are not intruders or immigrants to it who can be expelled whenever the brutal Israeli occupation wishes,” the statement said.

The statement concluded by stressing that “the right of the Palestinian people will remain firmly established and no one will be able to take it away from them no matter how long it takes.” It also underscored the Kingdom’s position that “lasting peace will not be achieved except by returning to the logic of reason and accepting the principle of peaceful coexistence through the two-state solution.”

Egypt and UAE Support

On Saturday, Egypt slammed Netanyahu’s statements regarding establishing a Palestinian state on Saudi territory, calling it “irresponsible and completely unacceptable,” reaffirming that “Saudi Arabia’s security and sovereignty are a red line that Egypt will not allow to be crossed,” the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Similarly, the UAE strongly condemned the Israeli “reprehensible and provocative” remarks, stressing that these statements “constitute a blatant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.”

In a statement, the Emirati Minister of State, Khalifa Al-Marar, affirmed “the UAE’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed its unwavering position against all threats to the Kingdom’s security, stability and sovereignty.”

Both Egypt and the UAE expressed their full support for the Palestinian people rights, underscoring the need to establish an independent Palestinian state through the two-state solution.
