Authorities in Saudi Arabia
Saudi authorities have issued a ruling exempting the examination from the “PCR” mandated by Saudi health officials to control the Omicron mutant before entering the Kingdom’s territory.
These categories, according to the ministry, are “the husband of a female citizen, the wife of a citizen, the children and parents of non-Saudi citizens, and domestic servants who accompany citizens arriving from outside the Kingdom” (SPA).
According to the Ministry of Interior, this exception was granted based on ongoing monitoring of the Corona virus’s epidemiological status and information provided by the Kingdom’s relevant health authorities.
According to the Ministry of the Interior, all procedures and measures are subject to constant examination by relevant health authorities in conformity with worldwide epidemiological advances.
Saudi Health Care
Dr. Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali, a spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Health, stated on Sunday that the number of critical cases of Coronavirus infection in Saudi Arabia had dropped.
According to Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali, the number of doses provided in the Kingdom exceeded 48 million, with 22.8 million people completing the vaccine.
He went on to say that preliminary statistics show the “Omicron” mutant is “not more virulent” after being found in 70 countries, and that immunizations are “effective against it so far.”
At a press briefing on the latest advancements in the Coronavirus, a health spokeswoman stated that the third dose is critical in combating the Coronavirus and its variants.
He stated that the number of serious cases in the country has decreased, but added, “We shouldn’t be consumed with talking about the fourth dose.”
