
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance officially released the Eid Al-Fitr prayer timings for 1447 AH (2026). Consequently, worshippers must prepare for a spiritual morning as the Kingdom celebrates the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Prayer Times in Major Cities
Ministry officials set specific timings for congregational prayers across all administrative regions to ensure a synchronized and orderly celebration. Specifically, the prayer in Makkah starts at 6:39 a.m., while Madinah followers will gather slightly later at 6:40 a.m. Residents in the capital city of Riyadh should prepare for a 6:12 a.m. start, and Dammam leads with 5:58 a.m.
Furthermore, other regional timings include Buraidah at 6:23 a.m., Hail at 6:32 a.m., and Tabuk at 6:52 a.m. southern cities like Abha and Jazan will both hold prayers at 6:29 a.m. whereas Najran begins at 6:22 a.m.

Safety and Weather Protocols
Due to forecasts of heavy rain and wind, the Ministry directed regional branches to move all prayers indoors recently. Therefore, worshippers must utilize local mosques instead of open-air grounds to ensure safety and comfort during the festive morning. The Ministry also urged early arrival to help authorities manage the large crowds expected at every major prayer location.
Meanwhile, the private sector holiday began on Wednesday, 18 March, providing employees with a well-deserved four-day break for festivities. In conclusion, the government extends its warmest wishes to the Muslim community and prays for the acceptance of deeds.
