The Red Sea Film Foundation announced its partnership for the second year in a row with Effat University. This partnership aims to empower promising female filmmakers within its qualitative initiative “Women in Cinema”. This partnership was launched at the conclusion of the screenings of the Effat University International Student Film Festival.
It also offers aspiring female filmmakers from Effat University a chance to realize their artistic visions . It will support 22 different cinematic projects from the development stage, all the way to the post-production stage.

The CEO of the Red Sea Film Foundation, Mohammed Al Turki, praised this ongoing partnership, saying: “We are proud of our partnership with Effat University as part of our “Women in Cinema” initiative.”
Moreover, Al Turki added “This partnership underscores our commitment at the Red Sea Film Foundation to support promising female filmmakers, aligning with Vision 2030.”
On the other hand, the university’s President Dr. Haifa Reda Jamal Al-Layl said, “We are pleased with our collaboration with the Red Sea Film Foundation during the launch of the eleventh session of the Effat International Student Film Festival which aims to empower women in cinema.”
She added, “We work together to deliver their creativity to society, as this partnership comes within a series of initiatives to empower women in the world of the film industry.”
