The College of Business Administration (COBA) at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University has earned business accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
With this achievement, the College of Business Administration at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University has joined the top 6% of business administration schools worldwide, recognized for excellence in strategic planning, curriculum development, learner’s success, teaching effectiveness, as well as influential thought leadership.
This accreditation is a remarkable milestone that adds value to the college’s students and their degrees.
According to AACSB, the accreditation ensures greater access to high-quality business education for learners around the world and businesses seeking top talent.
In a press release, the executive vice president and global chief accreditation officer at AACSB, Stephanie Bryant, said: “The commitment to earning accreditation is a true reflection of each school’s dedication—not only to its students, alumni network, and greater business community—but to society as a whole.”
For an institution to achieve the AACSB accreditation, it goes through a process that involves an in-depth assessment of internal operations, mentorship with an AACSB advisor, and a peer-review to reinforce continuous improvement.
After achieving the accreditation, institutions focus on developing and implementing a plan to meet their objectives and align with AACSB’s accreditation standards. These standards are based on principles and require excellence in areas relating to strategic management and innovation, research, in addition to teaching and learning.
The AACSB International, established in 1916, is the world’s largest business education alliance, connecting educators, learners, and business to create the next generation of great leaders.
