Number of Russian companies importing meat & dairy to Saudi Arabia is on the rise

Russian Sputnik News Agency reported that the number of Russian exporters of mutton and dairy meat to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia increased to 8 companies and 16 manufacturing companies.

This is happening after 3 newly formed Russian companies signed a contract with the State Food and Drug Administration in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This led to a rise in the number of Russian companies by giving access to the domestic market to other enterprises. This was for the production of mutton and the dairy industry.

The volume of commerce between Saudi Arabia and Russia last year amounted to 1.2 billion US dollars. In addition, the importance of Saudi exports to Russia amounted to about 81 million US dollars.

Last month witnessed a joint meeting of the Saudi and Russian business sectors, with the participation of 23 Russian companies operating in several economic sectors. The meeting was held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and the two sides praised the development of relations and the leadership of the two sides.

The two sides also pointed out the importance of trade relations between the two countries. They benefit from investment opportunities and form commercial partnerships to serve their common interests.

The United States of America “earlier” accused Saudi Arabia and the countries of the OPEC Plus group of supporting Russia, through the decision to reduce oil production, so Saudi Arabia and the rest of the OPEC Plus group denied this matter thoroughly.

It is worth noting that, since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council have taken a position of neutrality, called on all parties to the conflict to give precedence to the language of dialogue and peace, and called for a peaceful solution.
