The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has introduced a new satellite-based climate mapping service aimed at strengthening early warning and monitoring systems. This service includes detailed rainfall distribution maps designed to improve preparedness and response efforts.

Drawing on satellite data collected and analyzed from 1998 to 2025, the platform delivers advanced climate insights that support informed decision-making and help safeguard communities.
Data released for April shows that the heaviest rainfall is generally concentrated in the southwestern and western highlands of the Kingdom. Central regions receive moderate rainfall, while other areas experience differing precipitation levels.
