National Joint Initiative Promotes Digital Innovation, Investment in Events Sector

The National Joint Initiative to Promote Digital Innovation is in its third day of activities at the Main Digital Entrepreneurship Center in Riyadh. Under the slogan “EventTech,” it has highlighted key investment opportunities in the technology sector for events and how to utilize them effectively.

This was discussed in the “Investment Opportunities in the Events Sector” session, organized by the National Center for Events with the Digital Entrepreneurship Center and Monsha’at.

Rapid Technological Changes

The session covered the events sector’s challenges, including adapting to rapid technological changes and protecting participants’ personal data. Additionally, the session explored key opportunities, company and organizer challenges, and strategies for ensuring successful and sustainable events.

The initiative aims to boost digital innovation at the National Events Center and integrate government entities, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030. It also speeds up digital government transformation in the events sector by collaborating with government entities.
