Mawhiba Opens Registration for 2025 Bebras Competition

The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) has announced that registration is now open for the 2025 Bebras Mawhiba Competition, organized remotely in partnership with the Ministry of Education. The competition seeks to enhance students’ problem-solving abilities and deepen their understanding of key computer science concepts. Registration will remain open until December 1, 2025.

Recognized as one of the leading international competitions in informatics and computer science, Bebras attracts over two million students from more than 70 countries. Open to students from Grade 3 to Grade 12, the contest is conducted through a secure online platform, enabling participants from across the Kingdom to join conveniently.

Through participation, students are encouraged to think systematically and creatively when tackling challenges. The competition’s tasks are carefully designed to help them deconstruct complex problems and apply essential computer science skills such as algorithms, pattern recognition, and abstraction.

Mawhiba highlighted that the competition plays a vital role in promoting a culture of informatics among young learners, nurturing their innovation, analytical thinking, and digital literacy.
