Malaysian minister is photographed cleaning mosque
A picture published by the Malaysian Minister of International Trade and Industry Muhammad Ali, in which he participates with workers in removing the effects of rain in the Grand Mosque, became widely popular on social media as followers expressed admiration for his initiative.
The minister explained he wanted to participate with a simple effort, describing his participation as a “great blessing.”
Because the Makkah region witnessed moderate to heavy rain, the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has intensified efforts to remove the effects of the torrential rains that fell on the Grand Mosque last Tuesday to preserve the safety of visitors.
