Marafid: Riyadh Builds Connected Ecosystems for Economic Growth

Riyadh is rapidly expanding its economic infrastructure agenda with the launch of Marafid, a new executive arm of Riyadh Holding Company focused on enabling growth across logistics and mobility, industrial clusters and the circular economy.

The step seeks to develop integrated infrastructure that can support investment, promote efficiency and reinforce the capital’s economic ecosystem.

Instead of developing assets in isolation, Marafid aims to connect them into integrated projects and operational ecosystems that can unleash new horizons and unlock economic opportunities, improve services and create a more sustainable Riyadh.

More boldly, Marafid will oversee projects ranging from logistics hubs and smart parking to EV charging, recycling clusters and light industrial zones, strengthening the infrastructure that supports investment and economic growth.

Marafid is also bringing a digital layer to its infrastructure, using smart systems to monitor assets, improve services, boost operational efficiency and turn data into more informed decisions.

At a broader level, the launch of Marafid reflects Riyadh Holding Company’s push to unlock greater value from its assets while creating specialized companies to drive growth across priority sectors.

Its approach seamlessly blends project development and asset management with strategic partnerships and efforts to attract investment.

Ultimately, Marafid’s work is anticipated to support Saudi Vision 2030 by strengthening the infrastructure that underpins economic activity, expanding the private sector’s role and creating more sustainable, efficient operating environments.
