
Madinah Governor Prince Salman bin Sultan has inaugurated the new ALTANFEETHI lounge at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Through an exceptional blend between originality and modernity, the new hall is compatible with the highest international specifications and standards.
The hall features cutting-edge systems and equipment to provide seamless travel experiences, along with modern platforms to finish travel procedures.
Interestingly, the newly inaugurated hall boasts several facilities dedicated to people with disabilities, and environmentally friendly components to reflect the beauty of the city.
Spanning 1,200 square meters, the lounge can accommodate more than 240,000 passengers annually, representing a 95% increase in operational capacity.
The inauguration ceremony highlighted the presence of General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) President Abdulaziz Al-Duailej and ALTANFEETHI Company Board of Directors Chairman Eng. Mohammed Alkhuraisi.
Prince Salman emphasized that such development projects at Madinah Airport stand as a testament to the Saudi leadership’s commitment to offering seamless services to pilgrims.
Meanwhile, the new developments in the city’s infrastructure and vital facilities align with the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030 in positioning Madinah as an integrated destination.
On his part, the CEO of ALTANFEETHI Company Jalban bin Muhammad Al-Jalban, stated that the inauguration of the new hall is part of a comprehensive development project for all the company’s halls at various airports in the Kingdom.
